San Diego may be a destination spot for bright, beachy weddings, but I'm constantly being introduced to all the countless funky little venues scattered throughout town.

If barefoot on the beach isn't your thing, check out all the modern + urban feels that Nikole + Christian dreamed up, while still having a taste of Baja.

- THE VENUE -

Exposed brick, concrete floors, large open concept floor plan, market lights, wooden ceiling beams...this space is the epitome of urban meets earthy - and it's a dream! I may have slight bias for Sandbox, seeing as it's my dream living space, but regardless, the space offers up such versatility that it truly gives full creative power to the couple and their coordinator.

- Enter Jennifer Hughes -

Jennifer is the brilliant creator behind Laurel Street Events, where she takes couple's inspiration + intangible visions and brings them to life. Nikole + Christian's inspiration came from their favorite Mexican retreat Acre Baja, creating a lush little oasis in the midst of downtown's urban landscape.
