70's Vibes during this Vibrant Outdoor San Diego Portrait Session

POWAY, CALIFORNIA

There is a time for delicate curating, & intricate planning when it comes to creative collaborations and styled shoots, but I truly thrive in experimentation. Neither of us had ever shot at this location before, nor had we shot together...or even met in person! The only prep was Amber putting together a few looks - that we still only finalized on site.

We talked, we vibed...and we created magic on a whim. That is where I come alive.

Lake Poway was a pleasant surprise to say the least. We wandered toward the far back side of the park and were happy to see a huge range of setting diversity within a stone's throw. Location scouting can often be a little bit of a chore, but it deeply pays off to explore and find gems that aren't over-populated or over-done. Stay tuned for more from this session.
